Karamanlidika- Ermou – Monastiraki

Karamanlidika is a traditional Greek deli and restaurant with two locations in Athens, Greece, offering a diverse range of artisanal cured meats, cheeses, and other delicacies, but while the original location in Psirri is more casual and offers a deli-style experience, the second location in Kolonaki is more upscale and provides a more refined dining experience.

The Greco’s Project

The Greco’s Project is about quick, well-prepared Greek classics, including one the best Gyro wraps in the city. It’s an ultra-casual restaurant that caters primarily to city visitors walking up the two busiest pedestrian streets in the city, Ermou and Mitropoleos, and with a third location on the edge of Monastiraki Square.

Hippy3

Hippy3

Hippy3 is a lively little gastropub that’s popular among a varied mix of an upwardly mobile, young professional clientele and a smattering of tourists of the same genre. The popular bar does a great job of producing pop-food favorites like burgers, pizza and tacos. Just happens to be a great spot for breakfast, serving up scrambled eggs and, of course, avocado toast. It’s our favorite gastropub in Athens.

Neratzia – Athens – Koukaki

Neratzia – Athens – Koukaki

Our favorite little haunt in Koukaki is the cafe cum bistro called Neratizia, on the ground floor of a small boutique hotel of the same name. The little cafe opens early and offers a wide range of breakfast favorites, from pancakes to scrambled eggs. For lunch and dinner enjoy Greek classics prepared with a little modern-day flair. Great spot!
