The founder of Café Mericourt was one the first restaurateurs in Paris to serve a breakfast that was more than a croissant and cup of coffee at the highly popular Café Oberkampf, which regrettably closed in 2024 when the lease agreement expired.
Luckily Café Mericourt is still up and running, serving international breakfast items like shakshuka and hot American-style griddle cakes. The laid-back atmosphere and the specialty coffee keep the locals and tourist coming back for more.
