Palais Garnier

The Palais Garnier, also known as the Opera Garnier, is a grand opera house located in the 9th arrondissement of Paris. It was designed by the architect Charles Garnier and completed in 1875. The exterior of the building is characterized by its ornate Beaux-Arts style and features a large central dome and numerous sculptures and reliefs. The interior is equally opulent, with a grand marble staircase, a large auditorium with a capacity of nearly 2,000 people, and numerous ornate decorations and paintings. The Palais Garnier has been the home of the Paris Opera since its completion and is considered one of the most beautiful and prestigious opera houses in the world.
